Vera and her friends deny knowing the dead man, but after observing their reactions to the fall, Hayley is not convinced. What I Thought:
This is the 11th in the Key West Food Critic series and this one takes place in Scotland instead of Key West. I have read some in this series, but not all. In this one, Hayley has married Nathan and they go on a honeymoon to Scotland to visit his sister, Vera. Not only does Gloria accompany them, but so does Nathan's mother. Nathan also becomes involved in a golf tournament taking him away from Hayley, all this makes for a not very romantic honeymoon. When they are all on a dinner party cruise, a fellow passenger falls to his death. Hayley of course has to keep the killer from striking again. This one was well written like all of the Key West Food Critic Mysteries. It flowed well and was a quick read that kept me entertained. This was a nice setting away from Key West but still with some of the same great characters we have come to know and love. This one progressed with out a lot of edge-of-your seat drama till the end. I was left guessing till the very end which kept me turning the pages.
I look forward to more in this series.
